From Raw Material Mixing to Purified Output: Comprehensive Treatment Processes

Mixing Tank
In the biogas plant, the initial step is the mixing tank, where poultry droppings blend with return sludge and water at a ratio of 1:3. The resultant mixture is then pumped into the digester for further processing.

Digester:
Poultry slurry is pumped gently to the digester feed tank, maintaining smooth flow and preventing disturbances, ensuring efficient processing. Plug flow digesters suit poultry digestion, handle high solids, boost biogas production, with minimal water loss. Heating plates prevent microorganism collapse.

Volute Press
A dewatering screw press separates liquids from solids. The slurry, mixed with polymer for cohesion, enters the screw screen chambers from the feed hopper. In the gravity zone, water is pressed out and falls into the filtrate tank. In the pressure zone, pressure increases, separating solids. Collected filtrate is recycled.

Polishing Treatment
Filtrate from the membrane, containing organic load, undergoes aeration and sedimentation for removal before disposal. In the aeration tank, biological action reduces BOD & COD with air supplied by an air blower. Outlet water from aeration moves to the sedimentation tank for solids separation, with clear water sent for irrigation and solids to the digester.


Scrubbing Systems
Scrubbing System: H2S in biogas is removed using iron salts in an absorption tower. Hydrogen sulfide causes corrosion and engine damage. The tower moistens gas, increases moisture, reacts H2S with iron salts, then passes through an activated carbon tower for final purification.

These waste materials undergo anaerobic digestion, a natural process where microorganisms break down the organic matter in the absence of oxygen, producing biogas as a byproduct.
